We're a church that longs to share the great news of what God has done for us in Jesus with the city of Wellington. We strive to do it in a way that is captivating, engaging and authentic (because we think following Jesus should be all of these things). Some of the words to describe our church would be Evangelical, Reformed and Missional.

We are a growing church that loves Jesus.

We think that being a Christian can be summed up simply as someone who isn’t perfect but someone who loves, trusts and follows Jesus. This love expresses itself in faithful dependence on Him and the forgiveness and hope that he offers. Loving Jesus will lead to a devotion and obedience to His Word (the Bible) and seeking to authentically live that out in the world that he has made. And a church that loves Jesus will do all this for His sake and for His praise and not our own.

We are a growing church that loves Wellington.

A big part of loving Jesus is to love the people that He has made. The best way to do that is to share with them the hope that can only be found in Him. We think that as a church we are ‘sent’ by God into the world to be 'a city on a hill'. Rather than just being a club for Christian people, we want to be ‘on mission’ telling the story of God’s great love for the people of Wellington and beyond. We aim to be a church in the city that shares Jesus in a culturally relevant and engaging way. We hope to be a church that loves the city we are in, and what’s not to love about Wellington (except the weather)? Loving Wellington involves celebrating what’s great about this city, caring for the needs of the city, and offering hope to the city as we share Jesus with the city.
