At City On A Hill we’re convinced that Jesus is the ‘light of the world’. What that means is that He is the only one who can help us make sense of life in this world and reconnect us to God our maker. We’re confident that Jesus was a real person who lived, did amazing miracles, showed people who God is and what he is like.

Ulimately Jesus rescued us by paying a debt to God, our debt. When He died on the cross, He did it in our place, so we could be forgiven and get a fresh start with God.

Jesus said:

‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’

A life following Jesus will be a life of faith, hope and love. It is a life lived to the full with the sure hope of joyous eternal life, with Jesus, in Heaven.
