Church Camp Reflections
"It was the first time I've really experienced being with a church that was like being with family. It just felt so good and right to be spending time together over the weekend. Now I finally get what people are talking about when they say church community is so important when it comes to encouraging me to keep growing as a follower of Jesus!"
This is just one (of many!) conversations I've had with people since church camp. It was such a precious time away with God's people, hearing God's word and enjoying his creation. God has been so good to our church and blessed the hard work of so many.
It was an amazing application of what we had just read in Hebrews 10,
"let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
