New life at Christmas!
With Carols and the Wreath Workshop we have had the chance to share the good news of Jesus with about 50 people who don't belong to City on a Hill. Some of those guest have never been to church before and never heard what the Bible says about the real joy and lasting hope we have in Jesus.
Here is one of the comment cards we received after the Wreath Night,
'Praise God for the wreath night and for [my friend] professing faith and being keen to understand more of what it means to be a follower of Jesus.'
What a joy it is to see God at work saving people through Jesus!
Please be taking the opportunities that Christmas brings to share the hope that we have in the gospel. This Sunday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will all be excellent services to bring along those who don't yet trust Jesus.
"I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord." Luke 2:10-11
