I hope you have had a joyful Christmas and have been able to enjoy some rest as the year comes to a close.
It was great at our Christmas services to be reminded that Jesus, even as a baby, is the only one worthy of our worship. He alone is the saviour king sent from God to rescue his people.
“‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;
for out of you will come a ruler
who will shepherd my people Israel.’” Matthew 2:6
This coming Sunday we will not be holding our usual services at 10am, 4pm, and 6pm. Instead, we will have our annual church picnic at 11am at Williams Park, Days Bay. The weather is looking mint, so come along, bring your friends, and find us by the church flag. BYO food and drink, or you can buy something from the cafe.
I pray that you are staying safe and enjoying a break, and we look forward to seeing you at the picnic or in the new year.
Grace & peace,
Andrew
