Jesus is GREATER - Hebrews Sermons
It has been great to return to the Book of Hebrews in our Sunday Bible reading, sermons and Community Groups. We really can't get enough of how much greater Jesus is than any other saviour or priest or law. He is simply the best!
The trouble is that having our focus on Jesus isn't our default setting. We need to keep reminding one another as it says in Hebrews 2, "Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it." (Heb 2:1)
Church Camp - 4-7 June at El Rancho, Waikanae
Church camp is a key opportunity to 'pay closer attention' to what we have heard about Jesus as we spend time together in God's word.
We are privileged to have Geoff Macpherson coming to speak from the Book of Philippians. Geoff has been a pastor, church planter, ministry leader, Bible college principal and all-round great guy. He also was the pastor who officiated at the wedding of one couple at church who recently had their (16th?) wedding anniversary - so he can't have done a bad job!
